Now, I had one acorn image that I thought could be salvaged, but it was kind of stickly. Stickly is my new word~ the marker ink had separated on the stamp, then the stamp stuck to the paper, and well, it looked kinda like alcohol inks with white showing through. Not bad, just different. It called for a different kind of background, I thought.
So I grabbed the great, wonderful, perfect leaves from PapertreyInk's Beautiful Blooms (you can buy it here , and you'll find First Fruits there as well) and just colored around with SU's markers. I also used some Old Olive from a cube and Pallette Landscape to give some depth. I added a piece of the Gratitude paer since it is, after all, a Thanks for You card. Little bit of twine, couple of brads, punched little holes in the scallops- done!
Stamps: Papertrey First Fruits
Ink: Various and sundry, see above
Paper: SU Very Vanilla, PTI First Fruits and Dark Chocolate; unknown green print
Other: brads and twine

Beth all of your Thanksgiving cards are wonderful! I really like the "distressed" look of your acorn here. Great job salvaging it.
