Well, sometimes things work and sometimes, well, they look a little limp. I wanted to show off the new label die, so I made a background paper with the positive image from the Cardinal set, using Real Red and Old Olive markers. I colored the bird with Riding Hood Red ink and a blender pen. I think that the colors are close enough that it worked from a 'match' stanpoint.Then what to do?? I'll have to go search web sites to see how others are tying ribbon around the label, lol, becuase you can see I had some difficulty!

Gorgeous card! love the bird!!! Your coloring is so beautiful! The sponging around the scalloped edge really stands the card out! Oh, you are so hard to yourself... I love your ribbon and don't see anything bad about it. Some times my ribbon doesn't want to listen to me too.. But when I take a break and come to the card again, it doesn't look to bad as i thought.

Cardinals and Winter just seem like such a perfect pairing. You have done a great job; love the die cut embellishment, too. Very pretty.
