One more trip away, then I will be home for the entire month of September! At the moment I am in Houlton Maine, after a wonderful long holiday weekend camping in Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island in Maine. You can see some of the DD's photos here. We were about a mile from the house when I realized I did not have my camera...but being late leaving as usual... I went without it.

- I am a retired Birthing Nurse~ with a lot less money to shop for paper, fabric and yarn. Most days I quilt, knit, and make cards. Some days I just sit and watch the birds...some days I just sit! I make about 40 baby cards per month-all different!- for the local Birthing Unit. I also spend a fair amount of time spoiling my 7 Grandchildren. I don't cook, and I don't do housework. Once I got rid of those bad habits, I found there were many more hours in the day!
