Papertrey Pages May Challenge- Done!

If you've come during the Papertrey Blog Hop, Welcome! And please accept my apologies for not using any felt, lol, I just wanted you to see my Papertrey Pages May Challenge pages!!

The photos are of one of my grandbabies at about 3 months of age- with a giant sailor hat on, hanging from his mamma's tummy pack. I printed them out in sepia tones.

The paper has been sitting around for years waiting to be used with these photos- it is from Daisy D's. I used Father Knows Best for the little compass, It's a Celebration for the banners, and Men of Life for the boats.

The scrapbook page challenge was to use at least one Papertrey stamp set and a watercolor technique. !

I claim the extra points, lol, since i used some twill ribbon, too! The photo frame on this page is done just by making little knots along the cream twill, and attaching with glue dots. The title is done using stickers from Joann's, but instead of taking them off and sticking them on I just cut the page apart and glued down the part the sticker is stuck to. I may regret that move in another 10 years, but it looks kinda cute here!

Not only are my challenge pages done, but these are pages 3 & 4 out of 20. The 20 pounds you ask?? Well, 4 there, too. Wish it was more; still, I started May 1. At just under 4 weeks, I am on schedule! At least that is what my delusions allow me to believe!

Beth, you did it! The sailboat image is just right for this layout, and lent itself well to watercoloring. Your little sailor is adorable!

Well, I'm still hoppin'. This came out great. All your techniques combined to make a truly "juvenile" page and I mean that as a compliment. Great job!!
