Papertrey's Dot Challenge

Today I used Lemon Tart for my card base, and then layered polka dots from Polka Dot Basics 8 x 8 pad on top. I punched Spring Moss with the Fiskars Threading Water punch, then layered a printed paper from Bitty Baby Blessings 6 x 6 pack on top. On that I put a gift card envelope I made from Papertreys Stamper's Select Vellum. Inside is a Babies R Us gift card with a duckie on it. I stamped 2 duckies from the Bitty Baby Blessings set, one in Lemon Tart and the other from the Polka dot paper, and layered them on top of the envelope. I tied Lemon Tart Twill around the envelope, and stamped 'For Baby' from BBB on a tag cut from a CuttleBug die. The teensy duck from BBB is in the corner, then I sponged on some Lemon Tart ink and tied it to my bow with sopme of the thinnest silver ribbon PTI sells.

If you are here looking at this, I bet you know all about the Papertrey 2nd Anniversary release, and all of the daily activities going on. If you don't, go 2 posts below and see the link. Today the prize is one each of all of the ribbons Papertrey sells, including the new colors for this month. Can you imagine how it would feel to open that box when it arrives? Actually, I just stopped for a moment and realized I do not know what I would be thinking if I were to open that box, lol.

Now! I will say that I had a very busy, tiring day yesterday, but there on the table when I finally made it home was a box from Papertrey. A free set! I won a January Guest Star Stamper free set! It came yesterday! While it was late and I was tired, it certainly motivated me to make yesterdays card and get it uploaded before bed~ All of that ribbon would certainly be inspiring!!

I love love love the 2 new colors and ribbons coming this month, they are so for baby cards, lol! I feel like Papertrey made them just for me!

ETA: I added a different view just so you can see the ducks really are not pooping Dew Drops, lol lol lol!! Maybe I will just take the bottom right ones off...!!!

ok, while i think this is adorable, and a great gift card holder- is it just me or is the little lemon duck pooping out a nice pile of dew drops?! Just kidding, i know its just the angle, but the paint fumes have gotten to my head and this just looks too funny!

Lol, lol, only you, Alex! Ok,ok, I see the Dew Drops coming from the duck, too! Rest assured, there is plenty of room when you see the card straight on to not be confused~ either that, or there will be lots f laughter at the shower, and that's ok, too!
