A Wednesday Valentine

Are you tired of my Valentines yet? Valentines is this coming Saturday of course, so I have to be done by then!

The background of this card was made with alcohol inks- this time I used Copic refills- on felt on a wooden block. I also put a gold Pilot pen tip on the felt and banged it a little, to get some of the ink out of the pen and onto the felt. Then I just dabbed over and over on the Chromekote paper. The hearts were punched from the same piece, but from a section where the color got much darker. The hearts were edged in gold, as was the main piece. The card base is SU's Rose Red, and the pink layer is Pixie Pink. the sentiment is from Papertrey's Heart Prints Sentiments, the ribbon is one of SU's retired wide organdy. by the way, I am pretty sure I saw a new wide organdy in the Spring SU catalog.

This post is coming to you on Wednesday, but I am actually away- at the Trap Family Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. I have no idea if I will have computer access at the Lodge. If I don't, it will be a while before comments appear.

Speaking of comments- I love them! I wish you left more!!
