I am a retired Birthing Nurse~ with a lot less money to shop for paper, fabric and yarn. Most days I quilt, knit, and make cards. Some days I just sit and watch the birds...some days I just sit! I make about 40 baby cards per month-all different!- for the local Birthing Unit. I also spend a fair amount of time spoiling my 7 Grandchildren. I don't cook, and I don't do housework. Once I got rid of those bad habits, I found there were many more hours in the day!
Replicate the X lines at each of the 2 center squares above the X, leaving the corner blocks plain. I hope you can see it better than I can explain it! Now you can see your star pattern!
Identify the trapezoid shapes by coloring them in. I have done two different patterns/colors since my center star was two different papers, but you really only need to identify one, since you may only need one pattern.
