Core'dinations Bear

Yesterday there was a review of Core'dinations paper over on SplitCoast, so I thought I would show you this card today. I recently bought a 4 piece Sizzix embossing folder, and used the full sized one on pink core brown paper. How's that for a sentence?

After I ran it through the folder, I sanded off the top layer with a CTMH sanding block. The pink core matched SU's Pink Pirouette very well, so that became the base layer. Martha Stewart has a soft pink ribbon that matches Pink Pirouette, so I was almost done!

The little bear is from Cute and Cuddly. I confess this is not my favorite set, lol, but the bear looks sweet here! He's stamped with Versafine Sepia on Papertrey's Vintage Cream, and colored with Prisma markers. His belly is colored with a Copic (The Prismas are $1.99 at Utrecht Art right now! I like them a much as Copics, and they are a lot cheaper!). Just a bit of 20% Warm Gray around him to help him stand out, then cut out with a Labels 4 Nestability~ Voila! Done!
