House of Haunts

This is the Halloween card I made my daughter~ now that it has been delivered, I can show it here!

I started with SU Whisper White, and stamped the graveyard from Haunted House (SU 2000) with Versamark and Versafine Onyx Black, then quickly put a mask down and did the tree from this years House of Haunts the same way, then embossed them with clear embossing powder. I brayered YoYo yellow over the entire piece. Next I punched a circle with a Marvy punch, and sponged Only Orange (I think!- it was some orange from SU) all over. Lastly I sponged Basic Black- well, it coulda been Versafine, I forget it was so long ago, lol...- all around sort of in a circle.

Next I matted it on Only Orange, and popped it up onto a piece from Halloween Night paper. I used the key tag punch to male the corners. I threaded some 1/4 inch black grosgrain around and under the top layer, and tied a knot- then added a knot in Only Orange 1/4 inch grosgrain. I matted the entire piece onto Only Orange again, and put black brads in the corners. Lastly I made a square card from Basic Black, and put the entire 20 pound piece on that.

All products Stampin' Up! Halloween Night paper is from a while ago. Don't ask me how long ago, because then I would have to think about when it was, realize it was a long time ago, agonise over how quickly time is passing and how fast I am aging, and that makes me depressed... well, don't ask.
